Pet owners are reminded to pick up your pet waste.
When walking your dog in the Village, remember that it should be leashed and immediately clean up after your pet. Your actions set an example for others. Take along a baggie with you to pick up waste with and then dispose of it properly in the garbage – and not in the organics (The Region of Peel pet waste).
A Note About Coyotes Coyotes use their excrement to communicate with others and mark their territory. They leave excrement front and centre. You’ll see excrement on the borders of their territory, on roads and paths that they frequent. Typically if you see excrement on a Village street, it will be from a coyote. Dogs usually do their business in the grass.
That said, thank you for doing your part and disposing of pet waste properly!
