There is a new development application for a parcel of land on the south-east corner of Mississauga Road and Dundas Street.

Proposed development: A 13-storey apartment building containing 196 units and 20 stacked townhouses. The proposal also includes 331 parking spaces within 3 levels of underground parking.

The application was submitted by Harper Dell and Associates on behalf of 590816 Ontario Inc. and the 2 properties are zoned G1 and G2. G1 is Greenlands and Natural Hazards and G2 is Greenlands and Natural Features.

Here is the link from the City’s website, which has all the reports and proposed development. Just scroll down to the 2935 and 2955 Mississauga Road link.

The studies required by the Planning Department are listed in the link and were submitted on March 31, so it’s just the beginning of a long road ahead just like E.V. Royale.
Planning reviews it and if approved by them it goes to Council for a vote. If Council turns it down like E.V. Royale was, the developer can go through the LPAT process.

These properties are in Zone 8 and the Councillor is Matt Mahoney. We will continue to send out notifications of any public meetings for this development application.
